30 Days of Kink / Femdom and worship

Do you have a BDSM title (e.g. mistress, master, princess, goddess, ma’am)?

Iris calls me Ma’am, but not as a title. I am not “Ma’am Femi.” I’m justFemi. He might say, “this is my owner, Femi” or “this is my dominant, Femi” or “this is my girlfriend, Femi.” He wouldn’t, and I’d kill him if he ever, said “This is Owner Femi” or “This is Mistress Femi” or any other way of referring to me. I’d never use them, because being dominant doesn’t make me special. It doesn’t elevate me to a status equal to someone with a Ph.D, who has earned a nifty honorific in front of my name via years of hard work. I’m not more of anything. I’m just me. So no honorifics. I reserve those for people who’ve actually earned them, and I don’t think someone can do anything in BDSM to earn an honorific (the exception being Master since the dictionary definition is someone who has slaves or servants). I tend to not notice how other people self-identify anyway, unless I have reason to (i.e. “Well I’m Mistress So and So and Ithink [insert stupid one twue way opinion].”)

So no, don’t use them, don’t care if someone else does unless they really think they’re better than other people. In which case it wouldn’t matter what they called themselves anyway.
